Our services

We pride ourselves on supporting people with a range of conditions and offering the highest level of nursing care.

Our services

We offer residential and nursing care to our residents, as well as respite care if we have an available room. We pride ourselves on supporting people living with a range of conditions, and offer the highest level of nursing care possible.

We care for 63 residents within one communal setting. The homely feel which so many visitors and professionals comment on, is, in part down to our deliberate approach of having different people, of varying ages and conditions 'under one roof'.

Our palliative and end of life service allows residents a serene and peaceful place to be comfortable. Our staff go through specialist training in this area to ensure they truly make a difference to those we care for.

Types of care

Residential care

Residential care is provided to those who need additional support with day to day living. Our team are on hand 24 hours a day to provide personal care, with the level of independence the resident needs.

Our team take time to get to know every resident as an individual, learning everything from what time they like to wake up to how they take their tea. We offer a safe, comfortable environment for your loved one - a true home from home where you know they will be looked after and loved.

Nursing care

Nursing care involves supporting a resident with complex care needs that can't be met at home. We provide 24 hour medical care, led by our team of registered nurses and supported by the rest of our amazing team.

The care plan of each individual is entirely unique and designed around their needs, wishes and preferences. Our high level of care is made possible by our amazing team and our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for those with often complex nursing needs.

Dementia care

Those living with dementia may require specialised care and support, especially as their condition progresses over time. Some residents living with dementia also have multiple complex health conditions, so require a higher level of nursing care.

Dementia is different for everyone, so the care our residents receive is too. We focus on providing a safe and reassuring environment - improving wellbeing and allowing our residents to continue living a fulfilling life.

Respite care

Meeting the care needs of another person can be a full-time job and is incredibly demanding, both mentally and physically. If you're the primary carer, respite care allows you to have a break, whilst knowing that your loved one is continuing to receive care in a professional and safe environment.

We offer respite care when we have rooms available. This may include residential, nursing or dementia care.

Specialist medical care

Our team of registered nurses provide 24 hour specialist care for those with complex medical needs. This includes those with conditions which require constant monitoring, or with chronic illness or severe physical disabilities.

We offer care for those who live with brain injury, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and a host of other complex conditions.

Palliative care

We are dedicated to providing palliative and end of life care with compassion and dignity. Our highly-skilled nursing team support residents who have a terminal illness or life-limiting condition.

We help our residents manage the pain, physical symptoms and anxiety of a terminal condition, whilst ensuring they are as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible.

The Well Springs team provide first-class care, support and friendship to residents and their families. It is so reassuring to me to know that my mum lives happily at Well Springs and is safe and so well looked after. Thank you all.
